Touré

From a corporate platform to self-determination.

Brand Identity Web Development Social Strategy

After leaving MSNBC, Touré came to Birk Creative to build an independent professional presence. He owned an extensive body of original work. We helped him organize it, define his brand and create the tools to connect directly with audiences, sell books and pursue speaking opportunities.

The Challenge

Touré’s books, articles, interviews and recordings were scattered across locations and formats. There was no central archive or process for putting that work to use. His online identity remained closely associated with his television career. He needed a professional presence that reflected the breadth of his work and supported his next chapter.

The Insight

Through discovery, we recognized the strength of Touré’s original ideas and their potential to support an independent business. Owning his content was the starting point. He also needed the knowledge and systems to shape his public narrative, build direct audience relationships and turn interest in his work into opportunities.

Our Idea

Build a home for Touré’s work and teach him how to manage it. We guided him through locating and organizing his content in shared files. That process helped us understand his voice and develop his brand strategy. His website would bring everything together, with clear paths to buy books, request speaking engagements and stay connected.

The Work

We secured toure.com and designed and built his WordPress website from scratch. We created an email signup system, established his social channels and integrated a social feed. We also set up his YouTube channel, migrated his video content, implemented SEO and helped him claim his Google Knowledge Panel to support recognition beyond his network role.

The Result

Touré gained an organized archive, an independent publishing platform and a direct path from audience interest to business inquiries. His books, commentary and interviews now worked together within a professional presence he could manage. The foundation supported book sales, speaking inquiries and ongoing communication with his audience.

Education was part of the delivery. Touré learned how his content, website and audience channels could work together to support his career. He gained the confidence to take an active role in managing his professional brand, with a system he understood and could continue using independently.

Strategic Impact

Taking control of your professional brand has value wherever you work. It makes your expertise visible beyond a job title, helps you shape your own story and builds relationships that can grow throughout your career. For Touré, we made that independence practical through a platform he controlled and the skills to keep building his reputation, audience and opportunities on his own terms.
